Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Drill with hole saw attachment
  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Adjustable wrench
  • Level
  • Tape measure
  • Vacuum pump and gauge manifold

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a location that can support the weight of the unit, away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
  2. Install Mounting Bracket: Secure the mounting bracket to the wall using appropriate anchors and screws for your wall type.
  3. Drill Wall Opening: Drill a 3-inch hole through the wall for refrigerant lines and drainage pipe.
  4. Connect Refrigerant Lines: Connect the refrigerant lines between indoor and outdoor units, ensuring proper insulation.
  5. Electrical Connection: Connect to a dedicated 220V, 60Hz circuit with proper grounding. Follow local electrical codes.
  6. Install Drainage Pipe: Route the condensate drain pipe with proper slope away from the building.
  7. Vacuum and Charge System: Evacuate air from refrigerant lines using vacuum pump and charge with specified refrigerant amount.
  8. Test Operation: Run the air conditioner through all modes to check for proper cooling, heating, and drainage.
