Installation Guide
Tools Needed:
- Drill with hole saw attachment
- Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
- Adjustable wrench
- Level
- Tape measure
- Vacuum pump and gauge manifold
Step-by-Step Installation
- Choose Installation Location: Select a location that can support the weight of the unit, away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
- Install Mounting Bracket: Secure the mounting bracket to the wall using appropriate anchors and screws for your wall type.
- Drill Wall Opening: Drill a 3-inch hole through the wall for refrigerant lines and drainage pipe.
- Connect Refrigerant Lines: Connect the refrigerant lines between indoor and outdoor units, ensuring proper insulation.
- Electrical Connection: Connect to a dedicated 220V, 60Hz circuit with proper grounding. Follow local electrical codes.
- Install Drainage Pipe: Route the condensate drain pipe with proper slope away from the building.
- Vacuum and Charge System: Evacuate air from refrigerant lines using vacuum pump and charge with specified refrigerant amount.
- Test Operation: Run the air conditioner through all modes to check for proper cooling, heating, and drainage.
