Step-by-Step Setup

  1. Insert Batteries: Open the battery compartment on the back of the remote and insert 2 AAA batteries with correct polarity.
  2. Power On TV: Ensure your Hisense Fire TV is plugged in and powered on.
  3. Pairing Mode: Press and hold the Home button for 10 seconds to enter pairing mode. The LED indicator will blink blue.
  4. Automatic Pairing: The remote should automatically pair with your TV. If not, follow on-screen pairing instructions.
  5. Test Functions: Test basic functions like volume control, channel changing, and navigation to ensure proper pairing.
  6. Voice Setup: For voice control features, complete the microphone setup through your TV's settings menu.
  7. Final Check: Verify all buttons are responsive and the remote controls all intended functions.
Warning: Use only recommended AAA batteries. Do not mix old and new batteries or different battery types.
