Step-by-Step Setup

  1. Insert Batteries: Open the battery compartment on the back of the remote and insert 2 AAA batteries with correct polarity.
  2. Power On: Press any button to wake up the remote. The pairing process will begin automatically.
  3. Automatic Pairing: Keep the remote pointed at your Hisense Roku TV during the pairing process (approximately 30 seconds).
  4. Confirm Connection: The remote is successfully paired when you can navigate the Roku home screen.
  5. Voice Remote Setup: For voice-enabled remotes, press and hold the microphone button to set up voice commands.
  6. App Integration: Download the Roku mobile app for additional control options and private listening.
  7. Test Functions: Test all buttons including power, volume, channel, and streaming service shortcuts.
Warning: Use only AAA batteries. Do not mix old and new batteries or different battery types.

Reset Procedures

  • Soft Reset: Remove batteries for 30 seconds, then reinsert
  • Remote Pairing Reset: Press and hold pairing button for 5 seconds (inside battery compartment)
  • Factory Reset: Press Home+Back+Fast Forward buttons simultaneously for 5 seconds (erases all settings)
  • TV System Reset: Go to Settings > System > Power > System restart (affects TV, not remote)
